KIACHAKIS S.A. is a family-owned wholesale meat business with a history spanning more than six decades.
Today, the company serves retailers, butcher shops and food service professionals, combining experience with modern infrastructure and certified procedures.

HISTORY
The vision behind KIACHAKIS S.A. took shape in the 1960s, when Eleftherios Kiachakis founded the company with the aim of providing the Greek market with a reliable supply of meat.
Starting with the distribution of lamb, goat and beef, the company gradually expanded its operations to include pork and poultry, responding to the evolving needs of its customers. In 1981, the company became a Société Anonyme (S.A.), and in 2009 relocated to its modern facilities at the Central Athens Market.
More than 65 years later, KIACHAKIS S.A. continues to evolve while remaining committed to the same values that have guided it since the very beginning: consistency, reliability and responsibility towards those who trust us.

Facilities
KIACHAKIS S.A.’s facilities at the Athens Central Market have been designed to meet the requirements of modern meat wholesale operations. Covering approximately 700 sq.m., they include separate beef and pork processing areas, refrigerated storage rooms and a dedicated vacuum-packaging area, supporting the safe processing, storage, packaging and distribution of products while ensuring high standards of hygiene and full traceability.

Our commitment to quality begins with the careful selection of our suppliers, and is reflected in the procedures we follow every day. Through a certified Food Safety Management System in accordance with ISO 22000:2018 and the application of HACCP principles, we ensure food safety, full traceability and consistent product quality.

Delivery days
KIACHAKIS S.A. operates its own fleet of refrigerated vehicles, providing daily service to professionals across Attica, Boeotia and Evia. Deliveries are made from Monday to Saturday, with consistent attention to maintaining the cold chain and catering to each partner’s schedule.

Social Contribution
Donation of products to Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Church organisations.
Battery & Toner Recycling
Participation in the AFIS battery recycling scheme and responsible collection of printing consumables (toner cartridges).
Animal By-product Management
Non-marketable animal by-products are responsibly managed for animal-feed production, in cooperation with a specialised by-product management company.
Paper & Cardboard Recycling
Systematic sorting and recycling of paper and cardboard as part of the company’s daily operations.
